FAMILY NOTES: Christena was of German decent, from a large family, American born. Her father fought in the Mexican War. In 1870 Christina, Emanuel, and Sarah were living with her son, John D. Fry in Champaign County, Illinois. John Married in 1874 and was living in Urbana in 1880. In 1880 Christina Fry, 63, was living with her youngest daughter, Sarah, and her husband Caleb Johnson.
